Alteryx is searching for a Sr. Program Manager, Digital Customer Success. This position is remote-friendly.

Position Overview:
The Sr. Program Manager, Digital Customer Success Programs is a critical role responsible for developing, refining, and executing high-impact digital omnichannel engagement programs that drive adoption, retention, and growth. This individual leads initiatives across digital engagement programs, podcasts, Community blogs, and other scalable customer touchpoints. They operate with minimal management oversight, mentor others regularly, and drive strategic innovation within their portfolio.

This role reports to the Director, Digital Customer Success Programs, and partners closely with Marketing, Product, Technical Pre-Sales, Customer Education, and Customer Success teams to deliver digital-first, human-connected experiences.

The Sr. Program Manager ensures continuity and excellence in digital engagement programs, the Podcast, and Community blogs that shape the customer experience at critical points in the journey.

Scope & Impact:

  • Lead strategy and execution of high-visibility, customer-facing initiatives across Alteryx’s digital engagement portfolio.

  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, ensuring programs align with strategic priorities and business goals.

  • Influence and mentor cross-functional teams, driving best practices, program controls, and continuous improvement.

  • Innovate and disrupt existing program approaches, staying ahead of trends to maximize customer success outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Digital Omnichannel Engagement Programs

  • Design and deliver journey-based programs (lifecycle, informational, intervention, and 1:Many plays) that engage customers across key digital channels—email, in-product experiences, web, and Community—to guide them through onboarding, adoption, and retention milestones.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scale initiatives across regions, segments, and products.

Podcast Leadership

  • Own strategy, planning, hosting, and production of the Alter Everything podcast—a key channel for thought leadership, peer-to-peer education, and brand credibility.

  • Source, schedule, and prepare guests, outline episode content, manage production workflows, and track analytics for program impact.

Community Blog Program

  • Oversee review, editing, and publishing of Alteryx Community blog submissions that foster peer-to-peer engagement and customer connections.

  • Monitor performance metrics and refine content strategy to optimize engagement.

Cross-Functional & Governance Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives in alignment with program governance, risk assessment, and organizational standards.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish program controls, monitor risks, and track KPIs.

  • Continuously evaluate programs for improvement, incorporating lessons learned and process optimizations.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of program/project management experience, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end program lifecycles, ideally with an emphasis on Digital Customer Success Programs.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects in collaborative environments.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft, Asana, Confluence, or similar work management platforms.

  • Strong familiarity with Customer Success, Support, Operations, or Enablement practices.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple high urgency workstreams.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Valued Experience:

  • Experience with email automation (utilizing Salesforce, Gainsight, Pendo, Marketo or comparable tool) is strongly preferred.

  • Professional experience with writing, copy editing, podcasting, or thought leadership.

  • Candidates with hands-on experience using Alteryx Designer and Server product.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • PMP certification.

Success Measures:

  • Program Delivery: On-time completion of milestones and overall program success.

  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback on communication, responsiveness, and expectation management.

  • Resource Management: Budget adherence, cost variance management, and optimized resource utilization.

  • Program Impact: Achievement of program KPIs, benefits realization, and strategic outcomes.

  • Risk Management: Identification, mitigation, and reduction of program risks.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implementation of lessons learned and process enhancements.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The salary range for this role in the United States is $95,000- $125,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
