**Role Overview:**

The Agrigenomics Genotyping Technical Sales Specialist (GT TSS) will focus on expanding our Agrigenomics genotyping footprint across various platforms and customer segments, primarily concentrating on AxiomTM and AgriSeqTM product lines. This role involves driving the adoption of our genotyping solutions in agricultural research, breeding programs, and commercial Agrigenomics markets. The GT TSS will work closely with marketing and global business partners to prioritize and allocate resources effectively, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions in academia, industry, and government institutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and manage annual and quarterly business plans to achieve financial targets in Agrigenomics genotyping markets.
  • Understand and address customer goals and challenges in agricultural research, plant and animal breeding, and livestock genomics.
  • Drive business growth by acquiring new accounts and engaging with influential key opinion leaders (KOLs) in Agrigenomics.
  • Manage the sales process accurately, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and product management to drive sales and prioritize projects in the Agrigenomics sector.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Agrigenomics market space, products, and purchasing practices in research institutions, seed companies, and agricultural biotech firms.
  • Adhere to company quality management systems, policies, and procedures.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Agrigenomics, Genetics, Plant or Animal Science, or a related field; advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are desirable.
  • Over 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in genomics, Agrigenomics, or agricultural biotechnology is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling to executive leadership (C-suite, Industrial VPs, R&D Directors, and agricultural research leaders).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% of the time by car, train, and airplane.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.

**Location:**

This is a remote role, based in any major city on the West Coast, with proximity to a major airport being essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $112,400.00–$168,650.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
