The Strategic Product Marketing Manager leads complex product marketing initiatives that shape how Alkami’s platform, solutions, and partner products are positioned in the market. This role owns end-to-end go-to-market strategy for major products and strategic launches, translating deep market, customer, and product insight into differentiated positioning that drives growth. Operating with significant autonomy, the Strategic Product Marketing Manager partners closely with Product, Sales, Partner Relations, CXG, and executive stakeholders to influence product strategy, messaging frameworks, and commercialization plans. The role navigates ambiguous and evolving market conditions while ensuring alignment across teams to deliver cohesive product narratives and measurable business impact.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy for major product and partner launches and platform capabilities by defining launch frameworks, deliverables, and cross-functional execution plans
Develop and evolve product positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate Alkami’s platform in competitive fintech markets by synthesizing customer insights, product and partner capabilities, and market trends
Drive strategic collaboration with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities by bringing structured customer, competitive, and market intelligence into product planning discussions
Conduct deep competitive and market analysis to identify emerging threats, opportunities, and whitespace that inform positioning and commercialization strategies
Define and operationalize messaging architecture that aligns product, platform, and partner narratives across marketing, sales, and customer lifecycle communications
Lead development of strategic sales enablement programs by creating narratives, demo frameworks, and competitive guidance that strengthen sales effectiveness
Partner with Demand Generation, Partner Marketing and Content Marketing to design campaigns that connect product value to measurable pipeline and adoption outcomes
Guide internal teams on product storytelling and differentiation by establishing messaging standards and frameworks used across marketing and revenue teams
Support and shape ecosystem and partner go-to-market initiatives by aligning positioning, messaging, and materials for integrated or reseller-led solutions
Analyze product performance, win/loss insights, and market feedback to refine messaging and inform future go-to-market strategies
Influence cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent product narratives throughout the customer journey
Lead internal launch readiness initiatives by coordinating communication plans, training programs, and enablement resources across business functions
Drive continuous improvement of product marketing processes and frameworks to increase launch effectiveness and organizational scalability
Advise leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on product positioning decisions by presenting data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
Manage complex product marketing initiatives with multiple stakeholders by establishing priorities, milestones, and accountability across teams
Integrate AI into product marketing workflows to improve decision-making, speed to market, and consistency across teams
Minimum Years of Experience
6–10 years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, product management, or related SaaS go-to-market roles with increasing ownership of product positioning and launch strategy for complex technology platforms.
Education Level
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
Required
Advanced product positioning and messaging strategy for SaaS platforms
End-to-end go-to-market planning and cross-functional launch leadership
Deep market research, customer insight generation, and competitive intelligence
Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into strategic market narratives
Strong cross-functional leadership with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams
Data-driven decision making using product adoption, pipeline, and market signals
Sales enablement strategy including competitive positioning and value storytelling
Project leadership skills managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
Preferred
Experience in fintech, digital banking, or financial technology markets
Experience influencing product roadmap decisions through market insights
Background supporting platform ecosystems, partnerships, or integrations
Experience working in high-growth SaaS or scaling technology companies
MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline
Experience building repeatable product marketing frameworks or launch processes
