About the Role

As a growing Purchase Finance (PF) business, we are looking for a strong, dynamic product leader to drive the execution of origination product strategy in close collaboration with business stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving initiatives from concept to launch partnering with engineering, design, and research.

What You'll Do

  • Redesign PF product origination funnel, collaborating internally and with strategic partners to deliver seamless application experiences at scale. Develop an ROI-prioritized roadmap, and lead execution from concept, through launch, to analysis and optimization
  • Drive integration of new sales CRM tool to the sales and insight organization and retire existing legacy applications
  • Conduct competitive market research to identify funnel features that are critical to the improve credit performance and reduce fraud risks in the current borrower underwriting process
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to capture business requirements and develop user stories to build new/ optimize existing products
  • Manage and prioritize backlog of user stories with clear understandings of tradeoffs and impacts
  • Evaluate current state merchant / customer journey for optimization opportunity and develop use cases and future state user experiences
  • Define features, use cases, acceptance criteria, user flows, and other artifacts to develop product requirements
  • Lead platform enhancement and upgrade the existing technology platform and identify new product development processes

About You

  • 6+ years experience in product management; financial services, banking or fintech space preferable
  • Bachelors degree or higher in a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Strong curiosity and growth mindset with the ability to break down a problem, deeply think about potential solutions, and execute on a solution in a structured and an efficient way
  • Proven experience delivering results and working with diverse, high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep customer empathy and ability to problem solve for customer needs and business landscape
  • Knowledge of the Home Improvement Industry is an asset, not a must.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and navigating through ambiguity
  • You are proficient in pulling and analyzing data, putting together expected outcomes for features, and running A/B tests
  • You are a self-starter and able to work with minimal direction

Work Location
San Francisco
The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. LendingClub offers relocation, based on actual job level.
Time Zone Requirements
Primarily PT
While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.
Travel Requirements
As needed travel to LendingClub offices and/or other locations, as needed.
Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 175,000-205,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
