About This Role:

iRhythm is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Platform to serve as the strategic leader shaping the vision, direction, and business value of our enterprise data platform and underlying Zio software ecosystem. In this role, you will define and drive a cohesive data strategy that accelerates scalability, interoperability, and innovation across the enterprise. You will guide the evolution of our backend architecture, system integrations, and data models to ensure our platforms are future-ready and able to support international expansion, partner integrations, and new market opportunities.

You will operate as a strategic owner while also leading and empowering multiple agile teams to execute effectively. This role requires a leader who can connect long-term platform vision to near-term deliverables, ensuring that data capabilities, architecture decisions, and technical investments align with high-level business objectives. You will work closely with engineering, technical program management, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive a roadmap that positions data as a core competitive asset.

You will champion a data-as-a-product mindset, driving the governance, lifecycle management, quality, and discoverability of datasets and schemas that enable seamless data flow across internal and external systems. Partnering with analytics, clinical, commercial, and UX teams, you will ensure the platform enables actionable insights and intuitive data consumption layers—including APIs, dashboards, and self-service data tools.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Define strategy and roadmap for platform software components, communicating to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as the business owner for multiple agile teams, ensuring cohesive execution aligned to strategic imperatives while balancing technical debt and new capability delivery.
  • Collect stakeholder feedback (inclusive of operational teams and engineering teams) to understand unmet needs to support business scalability and business objectives
  • Work with engineering, technical project management, and software QA to deliver high quality features and platform architecture through iteration.
  • Collaborate with fellow software product managers to coordinate and strategize features that require dependencies between agile teams.
  • Define, analyze, and communicate analytics data and KPIs to monitor product performance and outcomes.
  • Ensure organizational readiness for all product updates and enhancements.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.

What We Want To See

You are a strategic thinker who excels at shaping long-term data and platform direction while also leading teams through day-to-day delivery. You are skilled at navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority, and balancing visionary thinking with pragmatic execution. You bring a strong technical foundation — particularly in data modeling, backend systems, and system integrations —and can bridge business needs with architectural decisions. You inspire confidence, foster collaboration, and encourage teams to challenge assumptions and bring forward new ideas.

  • 7+ years of product management and/or engineering experience for digital software applications.
  • Prior experience in software engineering or technical roles, including hands-on exposure to data modeling, backend systems, and object-oriented programming in integration-heavy environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data architecture, data governance, data modeling, and backend data flow strategy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of product management best practices and software delivery
  • Expertise with system architecture & evolution, data modeling/backend data flow strategy and AWS Infrastructure
  • Experience with driving analytics and business intelligence to inform product strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward measurable outcomes.
  • BA/BS in science or technical field. Advanced degree or MBA desired.

Ways To Stand Out

  • Experience with requirements management applications (Jama, DOORS,…) and design control applications (MasterControl)
  • Demonstrated experience in data modeling, ETL/data pipeline design, and data flow optimization across complex system landscapes.
  • Experience with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, etc.), road mapping tools (Aha!) and data analytics tools (Tableau, Pendo, GA, SQL)
