Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Senior Product Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Product and Strategy at Accruit . The role will take ownership of key components of the product roadmap, with responsibility for understanding customer needs and developing novel approaches to enhancing the Exchange Manager Pro software application . Additionally, it will take ownership of one or more major client types, with responsibility for collecting and aggregating voice - of - customer feedback and for maintaining customer-facing roadmaps . The role will bring a solid base of product management experience with software applications, and make major contributions to the improvement/enhancement of Accruit methods of operation and best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities :
- Roadmap Component O wnership - for major components of the product roadmap:
- Author Epics, Features, and User Stories (or oversee BA writing of user stories )
- Aggregate and analyze Voice-of-Customer information
- Engage with Dev team to think through strategic alternatives to execute against acceptance criteria/goals
- Ensure BA understanding of Epics/Features/User Stories to enable their effectiveness as an intermediary with Dev team for highly - detailed guidance
- Oversee release plans, t rain Customer Success and collaborate with them to a uthor and maintain client-facing support materials
- Client Area O wnership - for one or more Accruit client types :
- Author and maintain client-facing product roadmaps
- Ensure consideration of client area impact for any/all broader EMP features
- Aggregate and analyze Voice-of-Customer information
- Maintain awareness of client base composition , financial performance, and product usage
- Collaborate with Marketing on authoring and maintaining client-facing materials
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and report important developments to the SLT
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
- 5 + years of product management experience with software offerings (internal applications and/ or SaaS)
- 2 + years ' e xperience owning and delivering major changes to critical component pieces of a productivity software product
- Self-directed V oice of Customer gathering - both Validation and Discovery work
- Extensive experience with Epic/Feature/User Story writing and application of best practice s
- Application of advanced AI/ML capabilities to customer-facing product features
Skills & Abilities :
- Demonstrated ability to dig into fundamentals of customer problems/needs and ideate unique product solutions that users/customers did not consider /think to ask for
- User workflow map/diagram creation , p roduct r oadmap development and maintenance
- Mastery of Agile principle s, and application of S crum/Kanban approaches, participation and management of major sprint cycle ceremonies
- UAT best practice application and supporting documentation development
- Thorough understanding of leading use cases for advanced ML/AI technologies to user workflows in productivity software applications
- Ability to effectively distill and present complex ideas in written form, with supporting oral explanation - e.g. presentations to manager and SLT about planned new features and/or major strategic choices
Other Requirements :
- In f requent travel for conferences and/or client meetings ( < 10 %)
- Flexibility in work hours when early-morning meetings needed for coordination with Europe-based development staff
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
