About the Role:
Lead design for key e‑commerce flow(s): acquisition, onboarding, checkout, renewals, subscriptions, upsell/cross‑sell, or pricing/promotion experiences
Translate customer insights, funnel data, and multivariate testing results into clear opportunities that improve conversion and reduce friction
Design end‑to‑end journeys that span marketing, product, and account surfaces — ensuring consistency and trust across all touchpoints
Build high‑quality prototypes and interactions that demonstrate flow, clarity, and conversion-focused improvements
Collaborate with PMs, Engineers, and Marketing partners to align on goals, measurement, and success metrics
Create and refine scalable patterns for storefronts, offer frameworks, pricing layouts, trust-building components, and purchase interactions
Support experimentation by designing A/B and multivariate test variations with clear hypotheses
Ensure flows are inclusive, accessible, and mobile‑optimized
Present your work with clarity to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Mentor junior designers in craft, process, and data‑informed decision making
About You:
A portfolio showing strong product design craft, including e‑commerce, funnel optimization, conversion flows, or subscription experiences
Ability to use research, behavioral data, and experimentation results to drive decisions
Strength in designing clean, efficient, scalable end‑to‑end flows
Experience prototyping and expressing nuanced interaction details
Understanding of how pricing, merchandising, trust signals, and content shape purchase behavior
Skill in framing problems, defining opportunities, and driving toward the real root issue
Experience collaborating deeply with PM, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Science
Strong storytelling — especially around customer needs, funnel performance, and rationale for design decisions
Knowledge of accessibility and best practices for mobile and responsive commerce
Interest or experience in emerging AI‑powered shopping or assistive product experiences (e.g., guided purchase flows, recommendation systems, agent‑driven help)

The starting pay range for this position is $123,650.00-$203,150.00. McAfee takes into consideration an individual’s skillset, experience and location in making final salary determinations.
