About The International Team

The international core team is responsible for growing Life360's global footprint by growing our user base worldwide. We strive to build features that resonate with users in various markets and tailor the product to meet region specific needs. The team partners closely with cross functional groups to adapt and expand our core offerings into new markets. We balance rapid experimentation and longer term feature investments to reach our ambitious user growth targets.

Our team spans the UK, Toronto, and San Francisco. Preference for Eastern Standard Time. 

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $148,000-$217,500 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $174,500-$204,500 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead with Mobile-First Design: Deliver innovative, user-centered design solutions for our mobile apps, balancing delightful experiences with measurable business impact.
  • Design for Speed and Scale: Rapidly ideate, prototype, and launch multiple design directions to support fast-paced experimentation and high-velocity growth initiatives.
  • Partner Across Functions: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Research to ensure seamless execution and alignment on growth experiments.
  • Drive Experimentation: Create and validate design hypotheses through experimentation, leveraging A/B tests and iterative design to optimize performance.
  • Champion User Empathy: Take the lead in uncovering user needs through hands-on research—conducting interviews, or usability tests—while collaborating with analysts to validate and deepen insights across diverse international markets.
  • Adapt and Iterate Quickly: Embrace an agile, test-and-learn environment by refining design work based on feedback, data, and evolving priorities.
  • Visualize the Future: Produce compelling mockups, prototypes, and interaction models that clearly communicate ideas, ranging from early concepts to polished solutions.
  • Inspire Innovation: Foster a creative, collaborative culture within the International team—encouraging bold ideas, diverse thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Help Shape the Growth Design Strategy: Collaborate closely with Design and International Product leadership to define and execute a forward-thinking design strategy that drives global member acquisition, retention, and monetization.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Product Design: An emphasis on high-end visual craft, interface design, and design systems.
  • A Strong Portfolio: Great visual work across native mobile (iOS/Android), especially in consumer-facing apps or platforms.
  • Mobile-First Design Skills and Knowledge: Deep understanding of designing intuitive, high-quality mobile app experiences in the B to C space, with a strong grasp of platform best practices (iOS/Android).
  • Experimentation at Speed: Comfortable designing in a fast-paced environment where hypotheses are tested quickly and frequently through rapid experimentation and A/B testing.
  • Iterative Designer: Thrives in quick iteration cycles—able to pivot and refine ideas based on feedback, experiment outcomes, and shifting priorities.
  • Creative Problem Solver: Thinks outside the box and brings fresh, unexpected ideas to the table while keeping user and business goals in focus.
  • Versatile Visual Thinker: Capable of delivering a wide range of design solutions—from scrappy wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and motion-rich prototypes.
  • Data-Informed, User-Obsessed: Values both qualitative and quantitative inputs, and knows how to design for impact by interpreting data and user insights.
  • Strong Collaborator: Proactively communicates with cross-functional stakeholders and welcomes feedback as a key part of the design process.
  • Bias for Action: Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity; able to take initiative and drive design work forward independently when needed.
