Position Summary

As a Senior Principal CNO Engineer, you will lead capability development and vulnerability research within an agile team building a prototype access generation pipeline for a key national security customer. In this role, you’ll leverage your background in zero-day/N-day exploit research, CNO tooling, and AI-driven workflow development to design and build the future of automated vulnerability discovery and productization.

Role Expectations 

  • Lead the design and development of an AI-driven end-to-end exploit discovery, productization, and delivery system
  • Coordinate efforts of other engineers and security researchers, and construct appropriate team technical practices and infrastructure to ensure quality quarterly deliveries
  • Collaborate across teams to productize and integrate existing targeting data, tools, and infrastructure as needed to meet mission customer’s needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Degree requirement can be met with four years of hands-on experience in a software engineer or similar full-time position
  • 10+ years of experience as a CNO developer and/or security researcher
  • Proficiency in C, Python, Go, and JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of cyber operations tradecraft and software architectures
  • Experience implementing and evaluating agentic AI workflows for complex software tasks
  • Demonstrated ability in leading a team and communicating with external stakeholders 

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the required qualifications)

  • Mobile or browser development or vulnerability research experience
  • Experience as a cyber operator or analyst
  • Exposure to Intelligence Community mission sets and customers
