Sr Prin Software Engineer for Space Payloads - SIGN-ON BONUS

Lead and develop embedded C/C++ software for space payload applications, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, respond to evolving requirements, and provide tasking and technical direction to a small software team. The role requires strong technical communication, embedded software expertise, and a Top Secret clearance, with preferred experience in space systems, software-defined radios, automated build pipelines, and OpenC3 COSMOS.

We're looking for strong embedded software developers with a love for space and an enthusiasm for learning new tools and technology. Our teams are growing, and as a software engineer working with our Space Systems' programs, you would be partnered with domain SMEs and a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver software solutions enabling exciting new capabilities.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required:
- An existing Top Secret clearance
- 8+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably with C++
- Experience providing tasking and technical direction to a team
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with the space domain and/or software-defined radios
- Experience creating automated build pipelines such as, gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
- Experience with OpenC3's COSMOS (https://openc3.com/)
