  • Monitor platform usage, health, consumption, and admin activity to improve governance, cost control, risk management, and user experience.
  • CI/CD, Git, and Pipeline Governance
  • Govern CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, branch policies, pull requests, build validation, and secure development practices.
  • Troubleshoot build/release issues, permissions, agent pools, variable groups, environments, approvals, service principals, and dependencies.
  • Maintain reusable pipeline templates, controls, and guardrails in partnership with engineering, DevOps, cloud, and security teams.
  • Security, Compliance, and Guardrails
  • Partner with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices, security-as-code standards, and Azure DevOps guardrails.
  • Maintain Wiz and other security integrations to improve visibility, control, and compliance across code, pipelines, cloud resources, and delivery workflows.
  • Support secure pipeline controls, audits, access reviews, privileged roles, service accounts, tokens, extensions, and credentials.
  • Agile, Scrum, and Kanban Support
  • Configure and support Azure Boards for Agile, Scrum, and Kanban teams.
  • Manage teams, areas, iterations, boards, backlogs, work item types, queries, dashboards, delivery plans, tags, and process configuration.
  • Partner with Agile leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery stakeholders to improve planning, tracking, backlog hygiene, and cross-team visibility.
  • Integrations and Platform Ecosystem
  • Maintain Azure DevOps integrations with security, cloud, identity, reporting, ITSM, notification, and development tools.
  • Administer and troubleshoot service connections, webhooks, extensions, APIs, automation scripts, and third-party tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure DevOps in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps organizations, projects, repositories, pipelines, boards, artifacts, service connections, permissions, process templates, extensions, and integrations.
  • Deep understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, branch policies, repository governance, and code review practices.
  • Experience governing Azure Pipelines for CI/CD, including YAML pipelines, build and release workflows, variable groups, environments, approvals, agent pools, and service connections.
  • Experience configuring Azure Boards for Agile, Scrum, and Kanban delivery, including backlogs, sprints, area and iteration paths, queries, dashboards, and delivery tracking.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps security practices, including least privilege, secrets management, secure service connections, auditability, privileged access, and policy enforcement.
  • Experience integrating security tooling into DevOps workflows; Wiz experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across permissions, pipelines, repositories, integrations, boards, identity, and platform configuration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide users, explain technical issues clearly, and advise teams on best practices.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, Agile delivery, security, infrastructure, compliance, architecture, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead governance forums, facilitate decisions, document standards, and drive action items to completion.
  • Strong documentation discipline, including standards, procedures, runbooks, and user-facing guidance.

  • Experience with Wiz, Git, ServiceNow, and related enterprise tooling.
  • Experience building Azure DevOps reports or dashboards using Analytics Views, OData, REST APIs, Power BI, or custom automation.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps REST APIs, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting for automation and platform administration.
