Department OverviewThe Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team is the team that delivers solutions to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. We deploy and support products such as 911 Systems, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings.
Come join us at Motorola Solutions, as a member of the Software Enterprise Delivery team in North America! As a Network Engineer, you will work directly with our customers in mission-critical environments and help them solve problems when it matters most. You will be working with key products from Motorola focused on Emergency Call Handling and ensuring they integrate into customer’s existing environments and applications, providing complex solutions. We are looking for world-class Network Engineers who are energized by delivering solutions that truly make a difference. This position is focused on the networking and security aspects of the solution deployments.
Job Description
Qualifications :
5+ years’ experience in multiple networking domains such as:
Firewalls and Network Security
Mission critical network deployments
Data center networking
Carrier system integration
- Advanced Network knowledge is required including dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), multi tenant networks, data center networking, and QoS.
- Advanced Firewall knowledge is required including integrations with dynamic routing, multi tenant systems, and rule optimization.
- Travel is a must; this position is a customer facing role and requires 25% travel.
- Be a dynamic communicator and love working with people of all levels.
- Must love developing solutions for systems in complex environments.
- Must thrive on problem solving and troubleshooting
- Must have experience troubleshooting networks in a multivendor/multitenant environment
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check for CJIS certification.

- This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
Target Base Salary Range: $89,300 -$178,600 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
