JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Media Manager will be responsible for the tactical execution, performance monitoring, and operational management of paid media campaigns. This role ensures campaigns launch accurately, run efficiently, and deliver against performance benchmarks.
Working closely with media agencies, analytics, CRM, and website teams, the Senior Media Manager oversees campaign setup, pacing, optimization, and reporting. The role focuses on day-to-day campaign excellence, performance monitoring, and executional quality, while escalating risks and strategic opportunities to the Director of Media. This role is ideal for a media practitioner who can work cross-functionally to connect media data and performance to drive cars per day.
Core Focus Areas
The Senior Media Manager supports the successful implementation of four critical levers of the Take 5 ecosystem:
1. Media Campaign Implementation
2. Media Data Quality and Accuracy
3. Media Processes and Documentation
4. Cross-functional Internal and External Collaboration
Oversee day-to-day execution with media agencies to ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time
Manage campaign setup, trafficking, and implementation across paid media platforms
Conduct quality assurance (QA) on media buys, targeting parameters, tagging, and creative rotations
Monitor budget pacing and delivery to ensure campaigns remain within spend targets
Identify and implement in-flight optimizations within established guardrails
Maintain detailed documentation including media plans, campaign specs, timelines, and learnings
Track campaign performance against defined benchmarks and KPIs
Monitor in-flight results and flag performance trends, risks, and opportunities
Ensure budget pacing remains within acceptable thresholds (e.g., ±5%)
Escalate performance issues, optimization opportunities, or operational risks to the Director of Media
Develop weekly and monthly performance reporting across campaigns and channels
Partner with internal analytics team and external agencies to support:
i) Ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and data quality KPI tracking and dashboard updates
ii) Performance insights
iii) Test design analysis and readouts
Coordinate with the Website & SEO team on landing page performance, tracking implementation, and traffic quality signals
Partner with CRM teams on audience segmentation, suppression strategies, and retargeting usage
Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and audience integration across campaigns
Maintain strong coordination with internal teams and agency partners to ensure operational alignment
4–6+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or media operations
Experience working with media agencies and digital advertising platforms (Google, Meta, programmatic, etc.)
Strong understanding of campaign trafficking, tagging, tracking, and performance measurement
Experience working with analytics teams and performance dashboards
Ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and operational details simultaneously
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable optimizations
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy
Strong organizational and process orientation with comfort managing approvals and documentation.
