The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
- Seasoned engineer with advanced expertise in designing, integrating, and testing complex truck and van mounted equipment
- Design truck bodies and/or truck and van accessories from various materials.
- Create detailed drawings for manufacturing.
- Create simplified drawings for customer review and approval.
- Create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics as required.
- Resolve design, assembly, and manufacturing problems in a timely manner.
- Develop, publish, and maintain operating manuals for our products.
- Develop, publish, and maintain assembly instructions to support the Operations team.
- Communicate effectively with sales, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.
- Support field network of shops by providing troubleshooting information.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Solidworks or other 3D CAD package
- Proficient in other desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis is strongly preferred.
Relevant Work Experience:
- 5 years’ relevant experience in a design related Engineering role.
- Previous experience with welding, sheet metal forming, mobile hydraulic and 12 volt DC electrical circuits is preferred.
- Previous AutoCad experience is preferred.
- Experience with Solidworks Enterprise Product Data Management is preferred.

Total Compensation is $95,000 -$110,000

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time
In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.
Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $61,520.00 - $89,205.00 USD annually for full time employees.
