About the Role:
The Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle Management – Insurance Transformation, Testing & Automation (TTA) The Sr. Manager of RCM Transformation, Testing & Automation is responsible for leading the tactical oversight and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Jira-based work intake and prioritization from the operational needs identified, and the RCM automation pipeline. This role serves as a critical bridge between Revenue Cycle Operations, Technology, and Finance to ensure scalable process improvements, system enhancements, and measurable cost savings. The Sr. Manager will drive governance, standardization, and performance measurements across all RCM Insurance and future CBO change initiatives while aligning efforts to financial and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Leadership
- Oversee and manage UAT for revenue cycle system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Ensure proper test case design, execution, and validation for billing, claims, and payer workflows
- Oversee and ensure toll gate exit criteria is met before initiating sign-off processes
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure system functionality aligns with operational and regulatory requirements
- Partner with operations, IT, and vendors to ensure requirements are validated and solutions meet business needs
- Ensure proper test case design, execution, and validation for billing, claims, and payer workflows
- Audit readiness of testing activities
- Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency, quality, and communication loopback
- Lead post-implementation reviews to confirm system stability and expected outcomes

Jira Intake & Work Management
- Own and manage the centralized intake process for Jira requests generated by RCM Insurance operations
- Prioritize initiatives based on operational impact, ROI, compliance risk, and strategic alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable user stories and requirements
- Participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning participation, and governance of request lifecycle
- Monitor SLAs, throughput, and delivery performance
RCM Automation Strategy & Pipeline
- Develop and oversee the RCM automation roadmap including RPA, workflow tools, AI-driven solutions, and CoEs
- Identify high-impact automation opportunities across Insurance and Coding revenue cycle functions
- Partner with IT, analytics, and vendors to deploy scalable automation solutions
- Ensure proper documentation, change management, and adoption of automation tools
- Drive a culture of innovation and continuous process optimization
Financial Impact & Forecasting
- Quantify, track, and validate cost savings and efficiency gains from automation and system enhancements
- Build and maintain forecasting models correlating initiative delivery with financial outcomes
- Partner with Finance to ensure alignment on savings methodologies and reporting
- Deliver executive-level reporting on realized vs. projected value
- Identify opportunities to improve margin, productivity, and cash flow
Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance
- Act as a strategic liaison between RCM Operations, IT, Product, and Finance
- Establish governance frameworks for prioritization, execution, and reporting of all RCM initiatives
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across testing, analysts, and automation resources
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with influencer experience
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end RCM workflows and systems
- Proven experience managing UAT programs and system implementations
- Strong experience with Jira or similar work management platforms
- Demonstrated success in managing automation and process improvement initiatives
- Financial acumen with experience quantifying operational savings and ROI
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) or AI-based automation
- PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification
- Experience in large, complex healthcare or RCM vendor organizations
- Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) and RCM technologies
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and always conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Work is performed indoors in an office setting, requiring sustained periods of sitting and/or standing while operating a computer
- Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks
- Ability to lift XX pounds
- Effective communication skills are required for interaction in person and via telephone
