Reporting to the Director of Commerce Media, the Senior Manager of Media Solutions plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across both the Cars Commerce Media Network and Dealer Inspire Media Solutions. This individual will lead the end-to-end internal process by which sold media products are validated, processed, and routed through the business for delivery. This includes leading teams and processes that ensure contracts are compliant, records are accurate, workflows are aligned with platform capabilities, and all requirements are met for successful activation, billing, and business reporting. As a key operational leader, this role is responsible for managing and enhancing business processes across multiple product lines. The Senior Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing Services, Commerce Media, CRM, Product, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement. This position also includes direct leadership of a team of media operations specialists and business ownership of the development and optimization of the media fulfillment tech stack, in partnership with Product.Responsibilities
Design, document, and execute end-to-end workflows that move media products from sale through fulfillment, billing, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery across the Cars Commerce Media Network and Dealer Inspire Media solutions
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing Services, Commerce Media, CRM, Product, and Finance to translate business requirements into clear operational processes and remove friction points.
Manage and mentor a team of media operations specialists, fostering a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and continuous development.
Intimately involved in the development and ongoing enhancement of the media fulfillment technology stack, ensuring systems are scalable, efficient, and integrated with broader business tools.
Audit and map current business workflows to identify bottlenecks, recommend process automation opportunities, and implement standardized procedures across teams.
Resolve operational roadblocks by mediating cross-functional issues, documenting root causes, and implementing corrective processes to prevent recurrence.
Lead operational readiness for new initiatives, including process rollout, communication planning, and stakeholder alignment.
Ensure operational processes are well-documented and adhere to internal controls, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Lead end-to-end projects to resolve operational inefficiencies, driving measurable improvements in speed, accuracy, and internal teams satisfaction
Oversee team deliverables for monthly compliance audits to verify that media product activations, cancellations, and billing are accurately aligned with business requirements and platform delivery standards.
Maintain familiarity with SOX compliance requirements related to media products, ensuring team processes and deliverables adhere to established controls and audit standards.
Ownership of contract quality assurance processes, record processing workflows, and seamless handoffs between Sales, Media, Sales Reporting, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across functions.
Serve as the liaison to address and resolve questions or issues related to the selling, onboarding, fulfillment, or billing of the media product suite, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
Expertise in availability-based media products to support sales and contracting enablement, as well as in usage-based billing models to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
Leverages strong Salesforce expertise in records, workflows, and reporting to translate business needs into enhancement requests, execute and document user testing, and diagnose/troubleshoot system issues.
Preferred Skills
Experience building or scaling media operations infrastructure or fulfillment tech stacks
Ability to navigate and resolve conflict, build consensus, and maintain positive working relationships in cross-functional teams
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically and manage ambiguity
Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with diplomacy
Background in change management, enablement, or go-to-market readiness
Ability to attract, retain, and develop top operational talent in a high-growth environment
Qualifications
8+ years in media operations, marketing operations, ad tech, or a related field
3+ years of people management experience with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
Strong working knowledge of digital media products and fulfillment processes (e.g., display, video,
Proficient in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) to gather, organize, and analyze large, complex sets of data
Experience with CRM and workflow systems (e.g. Salesforce, Jira, Asana, or similar tools)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels
Comfort with making firm decisions where unknowns and multiple paths forward exist; conviction in owning and championing these decisions
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
