Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing works closely with the VP of Global Strategic Marketing to manage and develop Hydrafacial’s Skincare product portfolio and pipeline. This includes developing products, assets and programs that promote the brand’s unique point of difference and articulating its unique voice through cohesive brand planning and annual marketing plans, developing and executing the go-to-market process, and managing product marketing programs from ideation through launch and product lifecycle management.
The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing - Skincare will be heavily involved in and participate in multiple areas of the product development process including partnering with NPD, Operations, Regulatory and Legal, Creative, Sales and Finance to develop and support innovation concepts, target product profiles with key claims, packaging and sales expectations.
This role will manage the creation of brand, product and campaign-related assets to support global launch and portfolio management including but not limited to the following: packaging artwork, key visuals (model and product), global toolkits, website copy and key claims.
What you’ll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages global product development and portfolio management for retail and back bar skincare products; Manages pricing, margin and portfolio strategy to optimize sales and profit. Manages end-of-life, rebrand and New Product Development ("NPD") recommendations and execution.
Manages new product launches by partnering with NPD, Operations, Regulatory, Creative and Sales to deliver all assets on time, on budget and on strategy from inception to launch
Evaluates and understands the “size of prize” of all proposed product launches
Leads meaningful innovation by analyzing competitive environment
Develops unique product concepts in partnership with NPD, based on unique positioning and a strong RTB
Develops Target Product Profiles for launch
Partners with Regulatory, Legal and Medical Affairs colleagues to develop impactful communication on and off-pack with appropriate claims testing and support to ensure competitiveness
Manages global marketing requirements for local execution
Serves as primary liaison with Operations and NPD team to support phase in/phase out activities from a marketing perspective to ensure timeliness and clear communication of expectations for product launches and management
Manages new SKU and core SKU-focused communication rooted in consumer and provider insights, deliver on budget and on strategy to key activation, sales and training partners and global markets.
Drives clear and consistent focus, storytelling, and brand voice across marketing touchpoints.
Leverages customer and consumer insights & market research (global, channel-specific) to shape marketing approach.
Gathers, shares, and applies learnings, and proactively defines action steps to address gaps versus plan.
Fosters innovative, solution-focused thinking and approaches to product marketing planning, bringing new ideas for consideration.
Actively tracks, analyzes, and shares business results, brand health metrics and competitive activity, trends, and implications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
5 years of experience in brand marketing, creative, content marketing and communications
3-5 years of aesthetics skincare marketing experience, ideally on a B2B2C skincare brand also sold DTC
A strong leader and team player with ability to work along, lead and influence others towards common goals
Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills.
Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions.
BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish or French, a plus.

Base Pay: $136,600 - $153,800/annually
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Hydrafacial's total rewards package for our employees.
