GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Forge is DaVita’s design and innovation partner for how the Village operates - focused on transforming how we manage, prioritize, and execute work across the enterprise.

Forge Senior Managers lead enterprise-critical system design across DaVita’s field operations. This role drives large-scale, cross-functional transformation efforts from ambiguity to impact - translating complexity into structured solutions that deliver results at scale.

Senior Managers serve as end-to-end system owners and delivery leads. They shape strategy, orchestrate cross-functional execution, coach teammates, and serve as key thought partners to senior leaders. Their work unlocks clarity, accelerates behavior change, and powers the rhythms that help the Village run better.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

System Design & Strategic Framing

  • Define and evolve operating models (roles, rhythms, rules, metrics) across core business systems
  • Identify structural gaps and latent opportunity through system mapping and behavioral insight
  • Lead DUFV framing, assumption validation, and MVP design to guide confident learning and scale

Project Ownership & Execution

  • Lead multi-lane initiatives from discovery through scale, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery discipline
  • Anticipate and resolve blockers across teams, systems, and stakeholders with urgency and creativity
  • Balance rigor and speed, making high-quality decisions even under resource constraints or ambiguity

Analytical Rigor & Business Insight

  • Drive insight synthesis across discovery, pilots, and adoption data—integrating qualitative, quantitative, and contextual signals
  • Translate analysis into business cases, investment logic, and enterprise tradeoffs
  • Frame strategic decisions by weighing cost, value, risk, and long-term system impact

 Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Navigate cross-functional dynamics to align executive sponsors, field leaders, and delivery partners
  • Frame and facilitate complex decisions—clarifying tradeoffs, surfacing risks, and guiding action
  • Own senior relationships and influence strategy to ensure shared purpose and adoption success

 Communication & Storytelling

  • Craft compelling narratives that connect insight to action across varied stakeholder groups
  • Build executive-ready materials (memos, decks, briefings) that drive alignment and momentum
  • Coach team members on structure, clarity, and tone to elevate team-wide communication quality

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Mentor analysts, managers, and peers—stretching team capability through feedback and opportunity
  • Model Forge cultural values: humility, urgency, learning velocity, excellence, and trust
  • Contribute to internal systems for performance, feedback, and team cohesion across sub-teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience in consulting, strategy, product, or operational transformation
  • Proven success leading multi-track, multi-stakeholder system design or transformation initiatives
  • Deep experience in ambiguous problem framing, structured testing, and strategic delivery
  • Strong communication and influence skills; able to synthesize complex insight into clear, actionable guidance
  • Experience coaching others and building inclusive, growth-oriented teams
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, etc.); healthcare or service operations experience a plus
