The Role

The Senior Manager, Digital Technology for Emerging Brands North America will report directly to the Director of Emerging Brands North America eCommerce, serving as a strategic driver of regional eCommerce capabilities and a key partner in advancing omnichannel initiatives.

This role demands a proven leader with deep expertise in project management and cross-functional team development. Overseeing Front-End Development, Quality Assurance, and SCRUM Master functions, the Senior Manager will champion Agile methodologies and the SCRUM process to accelerate innovation and ensure seamless digital execution.

As a key collaborator, the Senior Manager will work closely with channel leads and global partners across technology, brand creative, and UX to align strategic roadmaps and pioneer innovative digital solutions. Leveraging data-driven insights, they will continuously monitor site performance, uncover opportunities for optimization, and enhance the digital ecosystem to drive business growth.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the regional digital technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives.
    • Identify and integrate emerging industry trends to drive innovation and enhance digital capabilities.
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • People Leadership:
    • Lead and develop high-performing teams, including Developers, Quality Assurance, and SCRUM Master roles.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • SCRUM & Agile Execution:
    • Champion Agile methodologies and best practices to enhance team efficiency and digital execution.
    • Continuously refine delivery processes to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with global technology, brand creative, and UX teams to align roadmaps and drive an enhanced digital experience.
  • Data-Driven Optimization:
    • Leverage data analytics to monitor site performance and health.
    • Provide key insights to identify trends and drive continuous improvements.
  • Technology & Vendor Management:
    • Maintain strong partnerships with key vendors to maximize platform capabilities and ongoing enhancements.
    • Ensure all owned platforms are up to date with necessary upgrades, patches, and configurations.
    • Audit for technical debt and collaborate with appropriate teams to implement resolutions.

· Vendor Management – Skilled in evaluating, engaging, and maximizing partnerships with third-party technology providers to enhance platform capabilities.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent level of experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital technology, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies, with expertise in SCRUM frameworks and best practices.
  • Proven experience managing eCommerce platforms, front-end development, and digital project delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics, site performance monitoring, and driving digital optimizations.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to align strategic roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading digital technologies, platforms, and trends in eCommerce and omnichannel retail.

$160,000 - $175,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
