Job Description

Senior Manager, Clinical Standards & Operations

The Senior Manager, Clinical Standards and Operations, owns the definition, implementation, and adherence of internal standards governing clinical resources and clinical processes across the commercial lifecycle—from pre-sales clinical engagement through implementation, adoption, and ongoing customer success for the Hospital Patient Monitoring Business in North America.

Your role:

  • Bring consistency, quality, and predictability to how clinical expertise is deployed, without stripping away the professional judgment required in healthcare environments. The focus is standardization where it helps, flexibility where it matters, and visibility everywhere.
  • Define and maintain internal standards for clinical roles, engagement models, and processes across sales support, delivery, and customer success. Establish clear expectations for how clinical resources support customers at each stage of the lifecycle. Ensure clinical standards align with regulatory requirements, quality expectations, and enterprise efficiency objectives.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and review mechanisms to measure adherence to clinical standards and consistency of execution. Identify variation, risk, or breakdowns in clinical processes and partner with functional leaders to address root causes. Escalate systemic issues, compliance risks, or capacity concerns to the leadership and a proposed solution.
  • Standardize clinical handoffs and collaboration points between sales, delivery, and customer success teams. Clarify roles and responsibilities for clinical resources in pre-sales, implementation, post go live support, and customer success. Reduce dependency on informal workarounds that create inconsistency, burnout, or customer confusion.
  • Support rollout of clinical standards through playbooks, training materials, and field enablement. Gather feedback from clinicians, account teams, and customers to refine standards over time. Partner with Sales Leadership, Delivery, Commercial Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical Leadership to ensure standards remain compliant and scalable.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in clinical operations, clinical program management, customer success, or healthcare transformation roles. Also desired is strong clinical background or deep experience working with clinical professionals in healthcare technology or provider environments and a strong understanding of how clinical resources support sales, implementation, and adoption in regulated settings.
  • Your skills include defining, implementing, or governing standardized clinical processes and the ability to influence clinicians and business leaders without relying on formal authority.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree, required, or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sales, Marketing or equivalent field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a Clear communicator who can translate complexity into practical guidance. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.
