What You’ll Do
As Bid Operations Sr Manager, you will shape and lead Edmentum’s proposal function, driving strategic vision and operational excellence across the bid operations team. You’ll be at the forefront of process innovation, collaborating with senior leaders to ensure our proposals reflect Edmentum’s mission and values while maximizing our impact in the market.
In this role you will:
- Lead the bid operations department, ensuring all team functions align with strategic business goals
- Oversee the entire bid process, from intake and qualification to submission and post-mortem analysis
- Establish and maintain best practices, workflows, and training to drive quality, efficiency, and compliance
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize bid requests and drive cross-functional process improvements
- Evaluate resource needs, manage staffing, and provide ongoing coaching and professional development for your team
- Ensure information and content management systems are maintained and accessible for all stakeholders
- Champion a culture of innovation, inclusion, and operational excellence
Who You Are
- You are an expert in proposal management and bid operations, with a passion for process improvement
- You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive leadership
- You are skilled in developing, implementing, and optimizing processes for efficiency and compliance
- You have strong experience in proposal writing, technical communication, and business writing
- You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (English, Technical Communication, or Communications-related preferred)
- You have 3+ years of proposals department management experience
- You are experienced in training, mentoring, and developing staff
- You are highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Word
- You are committed to inclusive, bias-free, and values-driven leadership
- You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs

Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
