  • You are an experienced integrated media strategist who is ready to take ownership of planning workstreams and play a meaningful role in shaping media strategy.
  • You are confident in building full-funnel media plans and understand how channel roles, audience strategy, and investment decisions come together to drive business outcomes. You are comfortable operating independently while still collaborating closely with senior leadership.

  • You are comfortable leading client communication and owning recommendations on budget allocation, tactical adjustments, and optimizations to drive performance against KPI goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Own integrated media planning workstreams across assigned accounts
  • Develop full-funnel media plans aligned to client objectives, including:
    • Audience strategy
    • Channel roles and media mix
    • Budget allocation and investment rationale
  • Ensure plans align to overarching strategy set by Associate Media Directors or Media Directors
  • Pressure-test plans for quality, feasibility, and performance potential

Strategy Development

  • Contribute to development of integrated media strategy alongside senior leadership
  • Help define audience approach, channel roles, and testing frameworks
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance or evolve strategy
  • Lead development of test-and-learn agendas

Measurement, Learning & Optimization

  • Interpret performance data and translate into actionable insights
  • Partner with Analytics to evaluate results across attribution, lift studies, and other measurement frameworks
  • Ensure optimization recommendations align to business objectives and KPIs

Client Leadership

  • Serve as a day-to-day client lead for planning and performance discussions
  • Present plans, updates, and results with clarity and confidence
  • Respond to client questions and provide informed recommendations
  • Escalate strategic questions or risks as needed

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and support Integrated Media Planners
  • Review deliverables and provide feedback to elevate quality
  • Help guide workflow, organization, and prioritization across projects


 

Media Research & Analysis

  • Leverage planning tools and data sources to inform strategic recommendations
  • Translate research and data into clear strategic implications
  • Support advanced analysis related to channel performance and media mix
QualificationsEXPERIENCE
  • Senior Integrated Media Strategist candidates should have at least 4 years of media planning experience, including independent ownership of integrated plans and direct client presentation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing recommendations across digital and traditional media channels.
  • Strong understanding of audience research, media math, investment allocation, reach and frequency, flighting, and measurement.
  • Experience using audience, competitive or media-planning tools such as MRI-Simmons, Commspoint, Resonate, MediaRadar, Vivvix, Placer.ai or comparable platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.

Reports to: Integrated Media Lead or Integrated Media Director
