The Sr. HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across the organization and/or within assigned departments. As a member of the People & Talent team, the Sr. HRBP partners with the team to deliver value-added service across the employee life cycle from talent acquisition to offboarding.


Responsibilities

This role will provide HR support for employees,  managers and executive leadership for their named teams/functions. This will include guiding leaders & teams through: performance management, organizational design and hiring decisions, compensation reviews and decisions, employee development, team engagement and employee relations issues.

  • Develop programs and solutions to support teams and leaders as needed, potentially serving cross-functional or company-wide needs in the areas of talent development, leadership development or other HR-related programs.
  • Provides performance management guidance to managers ranging from coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions, to performance review rating application, facilitating calibration sessions and compensation decisions,  and advocating for goal and initiative setting and management. 
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People & Talent team to develop solutions, initiatives and policies; and establishes effective change management communications to create buy-in, support and successful adoption of solutions.
  • Partners with talent acquisition by participating in intake sessions, compensation planning, and working with managers to develop job descriptions and interview questionnaire guides to facilitate effective and equitable hiring decisions.
  • Works closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement and increase productivity and retention through effective talent engagement and retention strategies. 
  • Provides guidance and advice on department restructures, workforce planning and organizational development including change management support.
  • Partner with managers to evaluate skill gaps, conduct training needs assessments and individual coaching needs; facilitates and recommends training, development and coaching resources; supports implementation of internal and external learning solutions; and participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
  • Consult with managers and provide appropriate guidance and interpretation of company policies.
  • Manages and contributes to the resolution of complex employee relations issues - including conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; and partners with the P&T Leadership and/or legal representatives as needed and/or required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work across various time zones, effectively work remote, and be available for in-person meetings as requested
  • Exposure to multi-state 
  • Experience using various HRIS and performance management applications 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications  

  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Experience or exposure with international employment laws preferred
  • Project management skills 
  • Experience using Google Suite a plus

Education and Experience  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years in equivalent HRBP or HR manager role
  • Experience delivering HR solutions within a SaaS environment preferred
