Join our dynamic team as an HR Business Partner supporting our US Land Operations! In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers across multiple regions, providing comprehensive support in our fast-paced operational environment. Working with a geographically dispersed workforce, you'll partner with leadership to manage sensitive HR matters while making a meaningful impact on our organization's success.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated HR representative for 300+ employees throughout the Rockies, Pacific, and Mid-Con regions.
- Provide expert guidance to managers on performance management, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and effective complaint resolution
- Lead and execute organizational changes requiring sensitive personnel decisions, including strategic planning, communication, and compliance activities
- Maintain meticulous employee data integrity in HRIS systems, ensuring accountability and timely updates
- Champion culture-building initiatives to enhance retention and employee engagement across all business areas
- Ensure strict compliance with state-specific employment requirements, with special attention to California labor laws
Skills Required
- Strong employee relations expertise with ability to handle complex HR situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Proven ability to work independently with remote leadership support
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders
- Knowledge of state-specific employment laws, particularly California labor regulations
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations cases
- Proven track record in onboarding and offboarding HR operations
Qualifications Preferred
- Experience in energy, industrial, or field-service sectors
- Background working with large international organizations
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces
- Familiarity with HR best practices in operational environments
