Role Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Platform Vice President, Senior Leadership Team, and the Director of FP&A. The role focuses on reporting, analytics, and developing tools to support operational and sales objectives across corporate operations and third‑party facilities.
A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role:
Planful Product Ownership- Own Planful configuration: dimensions/hierarchies, member management, drivers/calcs, substitution variables, and audit/change logs.
- Template‑based planning: design and govern budget, forecast, workforce, and driver templates; control approval roles and “mark‑as‑complete” workflows.
- Dynamic Planning: build interactive models/cubes for rolling forecasts and scenario analysis; implement copy/lock at stage gates.
- External Source Models: design and maintain external data tables (e.g., UOM conversions, demand/ops inputs) feeding structured and dynamic planning.
- Lead monthly forecast and annual budget processes for assigned BUs; build driver‑based models and sensitivity/scenario views (Base/Downside/Upside).
- Run rolling forecasts; coordinate inputs from Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain; balance top‑down guidance with bottoms‑up plans.
- Produce exec‑ready variance analysis packs (price/mix/volume, cost, freight, rebates) and Gap‑to‑Plan bridges.
- Build Planful reports & views; enable Power BI P&L/variance dashboards using Planful scenarios (Actual/Budget/1+11, 2+10, etc.).
- Perform profitability analysis (customer/product/SKU), cost‑to‑serve, contribution margin, and margin waterfall analytics.
- 3+ years in FP&A or finance systems administration with hands‑on ownership of an EPM (Planful required)
- Strong experience with scenario management, template governance, approval roles, and audit/change control
- ERP fluency (JDE preferred or similar), plus Power BI (or equivalent BI) for financial reporting; advanced Excel
- Robust modeling skills: driver‑based forecasting, NPV/IRR/ROI, sensitivity/scenario analysis
- Proven ability to translate operational inputs (demand/production/logistics) into financials; excellent communication with execs and field leaders
- Process ownership mindset—able to define calendars, enforce freezes/locks, and drive cross‑functional milestones
- Hands‑on External Source Model design, Dynamic Planning implementation, and workforce planning in Planful.
- Experience aligning consensus demand plans to financial forecasts in high‑SKU environments (price/mix/seasonality).
- SQL/Power Query for data shaping; familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
- Credentials: CPA, CMA, FPAC, or IMA FP&A coursework (nice‑to‑have).

Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $81,800 - $109,010. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
