Roles and Responsibilities
As the NAM CSA Services Operations Finance Leader, you will:
- Oversee all financial aspects of project accounting for HD Services CSA projects including project setup, actuals booking, revenue recognition, manual journal entries, and reconciliations for the region.
- Ensure financials of projects are in line with GAAP and compliant with statutory regulations & global accounting policies.
- Communicate balance sheet position to senior management on a quarterly basis.
- Lead the margin review process and partner with region ITR and CFO on optimizing performance of contracts.
- Establish process to ensure legal entity financial quality and act as a point of contact for audit related inquiries.
- Partner cross-functionally with Region, ITR & fulfillment Leaders in the pacing process to deliver baseline financial case to ITR Finance.
- Provide internal and external audit support relating to project accounting activity, balance sheet and P&L.
- Champion LEAN culture, lead transformation efforts in alignment with broader finance strategy, guide continuous improvement of processes, and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Drive a spirit & letter of excellence in Controllership (e.g., adherence to GE policies, transfer of best practices, internal controls, etc.).
- Identify, recruit, grow, and retain talent with appropriate levels of expertise to deliver on the daily management and/or transformational priorities of the organization.
- Foster strong partnership with and maintain accountability for execution performed by third party vendors on behalf of the Services Operations Finance organization.
Required Qualifications
- CSA accounting work experience either as a Controller, Risk Finance Leader or OTR Finance Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance or operations function in progressively larger positions of responsibility
- Minimum 3 years of finance leadership experience
Desired Characteristics
- Managing teams and delivering through teams; prior COE experience a plus
- CSA, TX, MMP, & Upgrades accounting experience
- Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant preferred
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
- Demonstrated adaptability/flexibility: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ability to operate in ambiguous situations
- Ability to partner with horizontal teams like Pole/ITR Finances, Fulfillment, Operations
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $147,400.00 and $245,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
