As a  Senior Field Marketing Manager for Citizens Private Bank, you will partner with marketing and sales organizations to deliver strategic programs that engage HNW/UHNW clients and prospects –  and across business lines at Citizens. Your focus will be on creating and amplifying integrated campaigns and initiatives that drive demand and support revenue growth.

Success in this role means aligning business priorities with regional marketing strategies that strengthen relationships, enhance brand awareness and drive growth. You’ll analyze market trends to provide actionable insights to marketing and sales teams, while driving outcomes through collaboration and integration across functions.

This is a role for a strategic marketer who thrives on building connections, amplifying impact and ensuring marketing programs deliver measurable results.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a comprehensive field marketing plan for the West Coast that aligns with business priorities and targets strategic buying audiences and personas.

  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing and Sales teams to identify key accounts and design tailored programs that accelerate opportunities and deliver measurable results.

  • Own the West Coast marketing calendar, activation timing, and sequencing. Execute events-in-a-box, micro-events, PBO branch activations, tradeshows, webinars, and local campaigns end-to-end.

  • Oversee campaign intake and follow-through, including COE ticket submission and capacity negotiation. Ensure flawless execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Define KPIs, track pipeline contribution and marketing-sourced revenue, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaigns and events.

  • Engage with peer networks within Marketing to share knowledge, align on cross-geo efforts, and refine strategies based on sales feedback and market trends.

  • Independent problem solver who can resolve challenges proactively while maintaining open communication with leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of field marketing experience in B2C and/or B2B environments, ideally within banking, wealth management, financial services, or technology. 

  • Deep understanding of West Coast markets and nuances, big ticket sales cycle and ability to translate marketing strategies into programs that drive pipeline, accelerate deals, and support relationship managers and wealth advisors serving HNW/UHNW clients. 

  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills with mastery of PowerPoint; able to distill complexity into clear, compelling narratives. 

  • Expertise in creating and executing multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns, buyer journeys, and co-marketing initiatives that drive acquisition and deepen client relationships. 

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate performance metrics and market trends into actionable insights and business cases. 

  •  Proven ability to execute flawlessly in fast-paced, high-growth environments; thrives amid ambiguity and manages multiple projects with precision. 

  • Skilled collaborator with experience influencing across functions and building strong relationships without formal authority. 

  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 50% to support events, activations, and in-market engagement.

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries. 

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Seismic, Salesforce

  • Ability to lead and influence with empathy and humility; skilled at navigating ambiguity, complexity and building consensus. 

  • Curiosity and critical thinking; a lifelong learner who approaches challenges from multiple perspectives.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: M-F 8-5 (4 days in office/1 day remote)

  • Location: Menlo Park, CA, San Francisco CA , Los Angeles CA or San Diego CA 

  • Pay Transparency 
  • The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $190,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
