We're seeking a Senior Enterprise Business Systems Analyst (People Technology) to scale and optimize our People Technology ecosystem across global teams. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on implementation, supporting the design and continuous improvement of a modern, integrated HR tech stack.
You'll work with tools including Workday, Greenhouse, ModernLoop, OverseasConnect, Vistra, Remote.com, Sparrow, CultureAmp, and Organimi. You'll partner closely with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, employee-centered experiences.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, proven ability to implement enterprise-grade HR systems like Workday, and a forward-thinking approach grounded in AI-first principles. You'll help define and deliver a future-state employee journey powered by automation, insight, and smart system design.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a key People Technology partner supporting system enhancements, process improvements, and cross-system integrations
- Lead or support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of HR systems including Workday, Greenhouse, ModernLoop, OverseasConnect, Vistra, Remote.com, Sparrow, CultureAmp, and Organimi
- Apply an AI-first approach to identify opportunities for automation, improved data accuracy, and enhanced user experience
- Drive integration and data flow between platforms to ensure consistency, compliance, and reliability
- Partner with HR teams to translate business needs into scalable system solutions
- Assist in mapping and delivering a future-state employee journey that supports growth and operational efficiency
- Implement SDLC best practices including support testing, documentation, release planning, and training as systems evolve
- Monitor system performance, triage issues, and manage vendor escalations when needed
- Stay current on platform updates, emerging technologies, and best practices in HR systems
- 10+ years of experience in People Technology, HR Systems, or related roles
- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise-grade HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Greenhouse, ModernLoop, OverseasConnect, Vistra, Remote.com, Sparrow, CultureAmp, or Organimi
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR operations
- Demonstrated ability to improve system usability and performance through smart configuration and thoughtful automation
- Experience gathering requirements, designing workflows, and documenting processes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment while balancing strategic projects with day-to-day execution
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and where applicable, performance-based pay. Our Talent Acquisition Team can answer questions around dbt Labs' total rewards during your interview process. In select locations (including Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Seattle), an alternate range may apply, as specified below.
- The typical starting salary range for this role is: $129,000 - $156,600
- The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed is: $144,000 - 174,000
