As the Senior Director, Sales Training, you will be instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our sales team by creating innovative training strategies. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of training programs aligned with our business objectives and driving excellence in sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute a comprehensive sales training strategy that incorporates predictive analytics and helps elevate the effectiveness of our sales force.

  • Lead a team of technical sales trainers tasked with delivering sales training objectives.

  • Craft and implement advanced sales training programs that holistically fuse machine learning algorithms, digital learning platforms, and predictive analytics.

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to guarantee training content is both accurate and in alignment with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify skill gaps of our sales reps, enabling the customization of training programs to address individual learning needs effectively.

  • Develop and apply metrics and analytics to assess the efficacy of training programs, tracing enhancements in sales performance, and adapting strategies as necessitated.

  • Regularly present leadership with comprehensive reports detailing training outcomes and insights for improvements.

  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to ensure training content accurately reflects product knowledge, market trends, compliance protocols, and customer demands.

  • Design, update, and optimize sales training curricula, including both foundational and advanced courses, tailored to various roles and varying levels of sales experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in sales, sales training or clinical education required.

  • Bachelors Degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant healthcare or laboratory diagnostic industry experience preferred

  • Relevant certifications in sales training and leadership development are a plus.

  • Ability to successfully motivate others, outstanding presentation skills as a dynamic and engaging speaker

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.

  • Prior experience working within a sales organization preferred

  • Experience developing sales web-based content, videos and engaging virtual training programs is preferred.

  • Dynamic presentation and facilitation skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a diverse population

  • Ability to travel 30%

Application Window: 4/11/2025

Pay Range: $140,000 - $188,000/year

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.  Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.  Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.  For more detailed information, please click here
