Senior Director, Partnership Strategy
The Senior Director, Partnership Strategy is a senior strategic leader responsible for elevating how Zeta shows up in the market. This role blends big-idea thinking with hands-on execution, and bespoke 1:1 strategy with scalable frameworks.
You will help shape differentiated activation strategies that connect data, media, creative, and measurement, partnering closely with Sales, Activation, Product, Data Cloud, and Analytics teams. This is a highly visible role—ideal for someone who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments and can bring clarity, creativity, and confidence to senior client and agency conversations. Ideally, you will be located on the West Coast for this role and work hybrid (Los Angeles or San Francisco) or fully remote.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Market Impact
- Advance and evolve Zeta’s Activation Partnership Enablement strategy, balancing innovation with operational discipline.
- Serve as a senior thought partner to leadership on priority partnerships, GTM evolution, and where Zeta should push the market forward.
- Help define what “great” looks like in modern activation—across insight, media, creative, and measurement.
Big Ideas, Creative & Media Strategy
- Develop bold, insight-led activation ideas that move beyond media plans to integrated audience and creative strategies.
- Translate data and intelligence into compelling strategic narratives that resonate with agencies and brands.
- Partner with creative, media, and activation teams to ensure ideas are executable, scalable, and measurable.
Pre-Sales Strategy & Sales Enablement
- Support Sales on qualified, high-value opportunities, including priority partnerships, Zeta high-opportunity cross-sells, and top-tier strategic requests.
- Lead or co-lead strategic frameworks for key RFPs—owning the methodology, approach, and strategic throughline.
- Act as a senior strategic presence on client and agency calls, bringing credibility, clarity, and differentiation.
Account Prioritization & Focus
- Partner with cross-functionally (Marketing, Planning, Data Cloud, Product, Analytics, Client Success, Client Experiences) to identify where Strategy engagement will drive the greatest impact.
- Help determine levels of engagement to ensure focus on the opportunities that matter most.
Data Cloud & Intelligence Integration
- Act as the strategic connective tissue between Activation Strategy and the Data Cloud organization, ensuring intelligence is seamlessly integrated into go-to-market activation.
- Co-develop audience, insight, and activation approaches with Data Cloud partners that translate complex signals into clear, differentiated value for Sales, agencies, and clients.
- Set the standard for how data is used in storytelling—elevating strategy through clarity, relevance, and commercial impact.
Measurement & Performance Frameworks
- Partner with Activation Analytics and Data Cloud Analytics to define repeatable, situationally appropriate measurement frameworks, including:
- Standard dashboards
- Agile Intelligence and in-flight optimization
- Cadence and frequency guidance
- Spend-level expectations
- Set clear expectations internally and externally around success, performance, and accountability.
Process Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Uphold and refine pre-sales workflows to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate across Zeta business units and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless pre- to post-sale alignment.
- Balance creativity with rigor—pushing innovation without creating operational friction.
Thought Leadership & Representation
- Represent the Activation Partnership Enablement team in senior internal forums and client engagements.
- Contribute to internal and external thought leadership around data-driven activation and media innovation.
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Product Marketing to inform roadmap priorities.

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $165,000, depending on location and experience.
