The Opportunity:

As a Platform thinker and DevSecOps Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations while prioritizing security, operational excellence and great developer experience. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining DevOps practices, security measures, and ensuring compliance with Enterprise standards to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of our systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

DevOps Implementation:

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.

  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes.

Security Measures:

  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security risks.

  • Implement security best practices and measures throughout the development and deployment processes.

Monitoring and Incident Response:

  • Set up and maintain monitoring systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.

  • Collaborate with the incident response team to promptly address and mitigate security incidents.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams to ensure a holistic approach to system architecture, security, and compliance.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on DevOps, security, and compliance initiatives.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the DevOps processes, security measures, and enterprise compliance efforts.

  • Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps and security roles.

  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and command-line operations.

  • Solid understanding of Linux-based server environments and distributions.

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell scripting on Linux platforms.

  • Proficient in managing and securing Cloud services, including user authentication, RBAC, and network configurations and controls.

  • In-depth knowledge of Linux-based networking and troubleshooting.

  • Proficient with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in AWS environments.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices for AWS environments.

  • Familiarity with Observability platforms & tools for log analysis, monitoring, and intrusion detection.

  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks: Jenkins, Github Actions, or others.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with IAC platforms and tools. (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi) and understanding of IAC management practices.

  • Understanding of identity management protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML).

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, AWS Developer, DevOps are a plus.
