What You'll Do
- Database administration - Tuning, installing, and configuring database servers. Set up servers for the database environment- Including Production and Non-production. Practical knowledge and support - Including installations, modifications to application databases.
- SQL Clustering - SQL Always On administration.
- Backup and recovery – Understanding point-in-time recovery and knowledge of backup and recovery tools. Understand how to establish an effective backup and disaster recovery solution.
- Database performance – Proactively monitor health, backup, and fix and analyze broken SQL agent jobs.
- Performance Tuning - Stored procedures and provide feedback on reviewing execution plans. Execution Plans – Troubleshooting poorly performed stored procedures, queries.
- Ensuring data security – Best Practices following the least privilege model.
- Data Masking - Dynamic and obfuscation.
- SQL Cloud administration – Azure SQL, IAAS, and PAAS Support
- Participate in some after-hours work and provide on-call support.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in database management, Always on Support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Team player and demonstrate the ability to communicate with business owners, end-users, and engineers.
