We’re looking for a Sr. Data Scientist with strong technical acumen to design, build, and train algorithms and models to improve and streamline business processes for large enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications to inform model design and implementation
- Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions across the full spectrum of techniques, spanning traditional ML methods (e.g., regression, classification, forecasting) and modern Generative AI/LLM-based approaches
- Prepare and transform data to support model training, evaluation, and post-processing
- Author articulate reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate your process and results to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding
- Partner with data engineers, ML engineers, and other cross-functional teams to implement MLOps best practices that support long-term model monitoring, maintenance, and scalability
- Proactively and independently engage with customers and take ownership for building models and implementing data science best practices unique to each project
- Drive thought leadership in the data science community by actively contributing to open source projects, sharing insights through engaging talks, and advancing global data science practices
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or evidence of exceptional ability in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or operations research
- 3-5+ years hands-on experience in building models and developing algorithms for real-world applications and data-driven optimizations
- Deep knowledge of advanced mathematics, machine learning, and statistics, with expertise in core AI disciplines such as deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems
- Mastery of Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with core data science tooling, including Python scripting, NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks, and bash scriptingExperience with data science tools including Python scripting, NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks, bash scripting
- Practical experience with XGBoost, Random Forests, time-series methods (e.g., Prophet), and other major data science algorithms and packages
- Familiarity with modern Generative AI and LLM techniques (e.g., RAG, context engineering, agentic systems)Experience developing on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Databricks, specifically with cloud-native AI services.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, ability to relate technical results and business outcomes to technical & non-technical audiences. Previous consulting experience is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
