About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Data Protection Analyst to help build and operationalize a comprehensive data protection program and execute eDiscovery infrastructure initiatives. Reporting directly to the Data Protection Manager, this senior role will be responsible for the configuration and management of Data Protection, DLP, and eDiscovery technologies, act as the primary technical SME for Data Protection and eDiscovery operations support, and facilitate the migration of related data and infrastructure to a hybrid environment.

What You'll Do:

Technical Execution:

  • Help design, implement and operationalize technical controls across multiple environments (cloud, on-premise, endpoints).

  • Configure and optimize Data Protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, and provide guidance on best practices.

  • Translate our enterprise data classification framework into technical labels and policies and ensure consistent application across data stores.

  • Drive the completion of an eDiscovery data and infrastructure migration, establishing a highly available, secure, and scalable environment.

Operations Support:

  • Work closely with Legal, IT and DevOps to support eDiscovery-related operational processes.

  • Contribute technical expertise to data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and data mapping initiatives.

  • Enforce data handling standards, data retention schedules, and disposal practices as defined by governance frameworks.

  • Monitor data protection metrics and prepare technical reports for management.

What You'll Need:

Specialized Experience:

  • 3+ years of specialized experience in data protection and/or data loss prevention.

  • 1+ years experience in eDiscovery.

Technical Knowledge:

  • SME-level understanding of Data Protection technologies.

  • Experience with DLP tool implementation, tuning, and policy creation.

  • Familiarity with data classification methodologies.

  • Knowledge of eDiscovery platforms and processes.

  • Ability to write, debug, and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) used for operational efficiency.

  • Strong background in applying security controls in complex environments.

Professional Competencies:

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently to drive technical projects to completion.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management.

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPT, CEDS, CISSP, etc.) or equivalent experience preferred.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $125,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
