About the Role:
Join CrowdStrike's core Falcon For IT product team as a content engineer, where you'll be responsible for managing the global library of IT Automation content which can be deployed to millions of endpoints to solve IT Administration problems. Content within Falcon for IT is composed of native OS scripts and or python, dependent assets and dashboards. You will be working on creating new content, sourcing 3rd party content, and validating the quality of all content that is for use with Falcon for IT. Additionally you will be product owner of the content publication pipeline working jointly with engineering teams to enhance the publishing pipeline, global content library, and Falcon for IT content consumption.

Falcon For IT revolutionizes how IT & Security teams manage their infrastructure by providing AI-powered insights into endpoints, applications, and system behavior. Our cloud-based platform processes real-time telemetry from our lightweight sensor deployed across customer environments, delivering instant answers to complex infrastructure questions and accelerating incident response times.
What You'll Do:
Build, operate, and maintain a global-scale content authoring and publication pipeline that is responsible for curating and publishing thousands of content modules
Design and build all aspects of the content validation, integrity and quality gates within the publishing pipelines
Author new content(E.g. Scripts, binaries, dashboards) to further the capabilities of the Falcon for IT platform
Prepare content for publication through the publication pipelines
Validate quality of newly authored content manually or via automation tooling
Create and manage content DSLs that are responsible for directing the creation of content
Work with 3rd party content providers to intake new content into the Crowdstrike Library and ensure it adheres to Crowdstrike standards
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the publication and consumption services to support new types of content definitions
Participate in architecture decisions for next-generation platform capabilities
Technical Stack:
Languages: Scripting Languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python and programming languages such as Go and Java
Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
Data: Redis, Kafka, ElasticSearch, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Linux
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog
What You'll Need:
Required:
Expert-level shell scripting (Bash/Zsh) with automation and system administration experience
Proficiency in Python
Deep understanding of operating system fundamentals including process management, memory management, file systems, and system calls
Cloud platform experience with AWS services and architecture patterns
Database expertise with both SQL and NoSQL systems at scale
Message queue experience (Kafka, Redis, or similar)
Container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes preferred)
5+ years backend development experience with distributed systems
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Preferred:
Content management systems or package management experience
Experience with Go and/or Java
DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
Cybersecurity or networking domain knowledge
High-volume data processing experience (streaming, ETL pipelines)
Soft Skills:
Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional team environment
Strong problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges
Mentorship experience with junior developers
Adaptability in fast-paced, innovative environment

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
