Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a technically strong, self-directed SaaS security professional to join our Professional Services team in North America. This is a hands-on role for someone with genuine curiosity about SaaS security and a drive to help CrowdStrike customers secure their SaaS applications.
You'll work with complex, high-profile organizations across the region, helping them understand SaaS threat exposure and close the gaps that adversaries exploit in real-world attacks. The work demands both technical depth and excellent communication skills, and you’ll need to be effective at both to qualify for this position.
What You'll Do:
Conduct SaaS security assessments across a range of environments, focusing primarily on reviewing configurations, identity exposure, and attack paths to surface the risks that actually matter.
Advise customers about risks stemming from inadequately configured SaaS environments, and provide both short-term and long-term remediation guidance to address threat exposure.
Write automation to improve the velocity of assessment work, extract and correlate data across large datasets, and turn repeatable analysis into assets that the team can use again.
Produce clear, high-quality, and actionable reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
Manage customer engagements through their lifecycle, including written and verbal status updates.
Help push our service offerings forward through methodology development, tooling contributions, and public-facing thought leadership.
What You’ll Need:
SaaS Security:
A strong understanding of cloud identity, including RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, and SaaS integration with cloud-based Identity Providers (IdPs).
A practical understanding of one or more of the following IdP platforms: Entra ID, Okta, Cloud Identity (Google Workspace), or Ping Identity
Knowledge of identity protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
An understanding of logging, monitoring, and alerting to detect unauthorized access to SaaS applications.
Knowledge of SaaS architecture design principals, including data segmentation, multi-tenancy, and isolation.
Hands-on experience reviewing SaaS security configurations and architecture.
Automation:
Solid scripting ability in Python or equivalent, comfortable building tools to automate assessment tasks, work with large datasets, and extend existing frameworks.
Experience writing queries across platforms such as KQL, SPL, or cloud-native query engines.
Comfortable using AI tooling to sharpen and accelerate their work — whether for code generation, data analysis, query development, or documentation — with enough critical judgement to know when the output needs work.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to to convey complex technical concepts in plain English.
Strong technical writing skills, including organizing technical content into a clear, concise, and logical structure.
We care about what you know and what you can do, not the specific path you took to get here. Strong candidates will have built real depth in SaaS Security and security over time — whether through years in dedicated security roles, a background in cloud engineering or DevOps that shifted toward security, or any other route that got them to the same place. What matters is that the knowledge is solid and the skills are demonstrable.
