You'll serve as a key escalation point, providing expert technical guidance and hands-on support to both customers and team members. Your role is crucial in ensuring our customer environments perform optimally. This position is 100% remote that sits in either the United States or Mexico.
* Responsibilities
* Incident Management
* Act as a high-level escalation point for critical customer issues
* Review and analyze Problem Management tickets and Root Cause Analysis reports
* Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent customer needs Customer Success
* Participate in the customer onboarding process
* Provide technical guidance for AWS infrastructure implementations
* Identify trends in monitoring tools and optimize alert thresholds with customers Technical Operations
* Create and maintain Terraform modules for efficient infrastructure deployment
* Collaborate cross-departmentally on customer environment improvements
* Manage the code that handles Mission's backup, patching, and monitoring tools
* Review merge requests and provide Change Advisory Board approval
* Handle highly confidential customer information and environments Continuous Improvement
* Lead Cloud Operations improvement projects, including Terraform module development
* Automate solutions for repetitive tasks
* Build and maintain a documentation library for internal tooling
* Identify improvement opportunities from customer alerts and implement action plans
* Requirements
* 4+ years in cloud architecture and operations focused on AWS
* Strong background in System Administration (Linux and Windows)
* Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform and CloudFormation)
* Scripting skills (Python or Bash) with AWS SSM or Lambda experience
* Familiarity with AWS managed services (ECS, EKS, Elastic Beanstalk)
* Knowledge of APM tools (New Relic, DataDog, or Dynatrace)
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* AWS Professional Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Experience providing world-class support in a customer-facing role
