Overview:

Join our team as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer responsible for strategic efforts to implement cloud governance, optimize Landing Zone architecture, and introduce intelligent automation into our environments. In this role, you'll mentor others and lead initiatives focused on secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and enhancement of Cloud Landing Zones, incorporating best practices in governance and security.
  • Review architecture and provide feedback on cloud infrastructure proposals.
  • Implement policy-as-code and automation for account provisioning and compliance enforcement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Networking, InfoSec, DevOps, and FinOps to align goals.
  • Champion infrastructure-as-code maturity and reusable modules.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning modern technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems.
  • Demonstrate collaborative, team-focused approach (succeeding and failing as a team).
  • Support a 24x7 operations environment with the potential for travel and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation with some off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.  

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably in large-scale environments.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Terraform, Cloud CLI, scripting (Python/Bash), and CI/CD.
  • Deep understanding of governance frameworks, control policies, and cloud compliance.
  • Experience integrating AI tools or observability platforms into cloud operations.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Strong mentoring, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The salary range for this role in the United States is $118,000 - $153,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
