The Opportunity

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially minded Client Manager to drive revenue growth and strategic brand partnerships across Dwell and Domino, part of  Ziff Davis’s LIfestyle, Inc. business unit.

Reporting to the VP, Client Partnerships, this role will be responsible for growing both endemic and non-endemic advertising revenue across digital, print, branded content, video, social, and experiential. In addition to expanding relationships across the home, design, and luxury categories, you will play an important role in developing new business within priority growth sectors including automotive and financial services, as well as travel, technology, wellness, and other premium consumer categories.

This is an opportunity for a strategic seller who understands how to translate the cultural relevance, authority, and influential audiences of Dwell and Domino into meaningful partnerships for marketers. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable growing established relationships and opening entirely new categories and accounts—connecting client business objectives with the moments when consumers are planning, investing, purchasing, and making decisions about how they want to live.

You will work closely with editorial, marketing, creative, client services, and ad operations teams to develop integrated programs that deliver against client objectives while maintaining the premium and trusted positioning of Dwell and Domino.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a dedicated national sales pipeline across both endemic and on-endemic categories, with a focus on home, design, and luxury as well as priority growth sectors including automotive and financial services.

  • Proactively identify new revenue opportunities and develop new-to-Dwell and new-to-Domino business through strategic prospecting, account mapping, market intelligence and senior-level agency and client outreach.

  • Build, expand, and steward direct-client and agency relationships with senior brand marketers, CMOs, media leaders and investment teams, with a focus on securing significant and recurring media commitments.

  • Translate client business challenges, audience objectives and marketing priorities into compelling integrated partnership spanning branded content, video, digital media, social, print, experiential and custom activations.

  • Develop category-specific sales narratives that demonstrate how Dwell and Domino’s influential, design-minded audiences can drive value for brands both within and beyond the traditional home and design categories.

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting and pitch development through negotiation, closing and renewal—with accountability for achieving and exceeding individual revenue goals while maximizing the value and profitability of each partnership.

  • Partner closely with editorial, marketing, creative strategy, client services and ad operations teams to develop differentiated programs that deliver against client objectives and create long-term partnership opportunities.

  • Maintain disciplined Salesforce pipeline management and client activity tracking, providing leadership with accurate and reliable weekly and monthly revenue forecasts, opportunity updates, and visibility into business development activity.

  • Track advertising spend, competitive activity, category trends, and broader marketplace shifts to uncover new revenue opportunities and strengthen Dwell and Domino’s position with both endemic and non-endemic marketers.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to prospect, develop, negotiate and close significant six- and seven-figure integrated media and brand partnership programs, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Deep fluency in modern media and partnership formats, including branded content, video, custom integrations, high-impact digital display, social media, print, programmatic advertising, and experiential sponsorships

  • Exceptional sales presentation and storytelling skills, with a track record of translating client business objectives into compelling media recommendations and presenting them to executive-level agency and brand decision-makers.

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience structuring premium partnerships, navigating complex pricing conversations, and maximizing both client value and profitability.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools, including Salesforce, and market intelligence platforms to manage account activity, identify opportunities, maintain pipeline health, and support accurate revenue forecasting.

  • Entrepreneurial and curious mindset, with the ability to identify whitespace, connect client business needs with Dwell and Domino's audiences and capabilities, and develop compelling partnership opportunities across both endemic and non-endemic categories.

  • Polished executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to navigate objections, negotiations, and senior-level client relationships with confidence and diplomacy.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • 8–12+ years of professional digital advertising sales, media sales, integrated partnerships, or agency-side media experience, with a documented history of meeting or exceeding significant-revenue targets.

  • A proven network of active brand-direct and agency relationships across one or more relevant categories, including home and design, luxury consumer goods, automotive, financial services, travel, technology, wellness, or other premium consumer sectors.

  • Demonstrated success developing new categories and opening net-new accounts, with the ability to create compelling advertising opportunities for brands that may not traditionally consider home and design media as part of their marketing mix.

  • Strong experience working within premium publishing, digital media, or content-driven environments and developing integrated programs across multiple platforms.

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical field experience.
