This role serves as relationship owner (internally and externally) to sell Lyric’s growing suite of products and services across our largest clients. This team member has a strong understanding of Lyric’s product offerings as well as our client’s strategic priorities and pain points to evangelize Lyric’s value proposition, driving maximum value for our customers and revenue for Lyric. This role is critical to generating revenue from new and existing sales and/or client management and supporting our customers by helping them find solutions that best meet their needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

  • Business Development Performance: Build pipeline and forecast sales and/or client management for large, complex clients; meet or exceed revenue and margin targets for assigned clients
  • Core Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of Lyric products, health plan IT, payment integrity, competitive landscape, market trends, and client contracting process; articulate multiple dimensions of value (operational, technical, financial) of Lyric products and services; negotiate product, contractual, and financial terms of proposals and contracts, in a way that optimizes financial outcomes for Lyric and value to the client
  • Client Engagement: Proactively build and maintain relationships with key client decision makers and influencers; leverage payment integrity fluency and client engagement capabilities to build a trusted advisor relationship with clients and provide insightful feedback to Lyric to inform client strategy, service delivery, and product roadmap; effectively execute mapping of other Lyric personnel to appropriate client personnel necessary to ensure execution of client strategy
  • Collaborating & Communicating: Effectively communicate to all audiences (internal executives, internal team members, cross functionally, client working level, client executives) in all formats (emails, agendas, oral, presentations) to inform strategy and coordinate execution; strike balance between personal efforts and leveraging GTM colleagues and leadership
  • Leading Strategically: Develop and maintain client strategy explicitly founded on an understanding of clients’ goals and business environment, as well as Lyric objectives, using latest methods as defined by Lyric GTM leadership – including a strategically aligned client roadmap representing LOB/Product time based path to mutual value realization; develop, maintain, and lead action plan, with timely communication and escalations to ensure Lyric success and client satisfaction

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required (quantifiable from resume/application):

  • At least 10 yrs sales and/or strategic client management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex client environments and secure buy-in from multiple cross-functional groups; ability to move clients to action and close deals with mutual value realization
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, including strong executive presence
  • Ability to lead multi-functional efforts with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels (working team all the way to C-Level executive leaders)
  • Experience selling to and maintaining strong multi-functional relationships with major health plans

$122,425.00 - $183,638.00
