Position Overview:


The Client Director plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role entails working closely with Technical Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and client stakeholders to oversee the implementation process. They are expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to achieving successful outcomes, and a dedication to fostering growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client projects within the Auxo Life Insurance practice.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, taking them through the entire project lifecycle, from contract creation to product release.
  • Identify and understand client needs, develop and execute client strategies, and ensure the delivery of solutions that align with their business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Directors to identify use case reuse opportunities across the client base. Build solution roadmaps for clients and a product roadmap across Insurance.
  • Act as an escalation point for project risks, dependencies, and general project delivery concerns.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, overseeing financial aspects from the initial sales phase to the final delivery.
  • Provide clients with advice on various business matters, including strategy, software solutions, and long-term project plans.
  • Engage with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services within existing engagements.
  • Develop and implement organized sales processes to optimize pipeline management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients that lead to new business prospects and opportunities.
  • Recruit and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Maintain regular communication with leadership with regards to project updates.


Specific Expertise in Life Insurance:

  • Provide deep industry insights and technical knowledge specific to Life Insurance, including technology standards, regulatory requirements, and key industry trends.
  • Leverage expertise with the insurance space to design and deliver Insurtech solutions that address the specific challenges and opportunities within the industry.
  • Guide clients through digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve business outcomes in the life insurance domain.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, along with 5+ years of experience as the primary owner of client relationships and working in a consulting or professional services role, and 7+ years of experience in the Life Insurance industry.
  • Experience navigating client relationships in a remote environment.
  • Core consulting experience with a focus on Life & Annuity experience working with L&A in the United States is a firm requirement for this role. Group insurance is a plus.
  • Deep L&A domain expertise and a strong understanding of consulting engagements with the ability to manage an engagement with support from an Engagement Director and/or Technical Project Manager.
  • Can build a business case, create a story of value creation in slides and effectively present to decision makers.
  • Can manage unstructured conversations with executives.
  • Understands where the growth is happening in L&A right now (AI, distribution enablement, digital experience, etc).
  • Support business development activity for new & existing logos, and collaborate with Sales Engineering
