This role drives the identification and delivery of new business opportunities to support organizational growth objectives. It involves structuring strategic partnerships, negotiating contracts, and managing ongoing business relationships. The role requires developing expertise in key market sectors and analyzing complex business opportunities. Success is measured by the ability to create and sustain valuable partnerships and contribute to strategic business development. The work impacts the organization by expanding market presence and enhancing customer and partner engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Structure and manage strategic partnerships to achieve defined economic and operational objectives through contract negotiation and execution.

  • Manage a portfolio of existing strategic partners, developing and executing account plans to support long-term growth, operational success, and mutual business objectives.

  • Identify and deliver incremental business opportunities within the assigned partner portfolio through commercial enhancements, expanded service offerings, and contractual amendments where applicable.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry partners to support business goals.

  • Build domain expertise in critical sectors to inform strategic decision-making and opportunity assessment.

  • Provide strategic analysis and recommendations on market opportunities, technologies, and business models to cross-functional teams.

  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

  • Note: This role is focused on managing and expanding an established portfolio of strategic partners and does not primarily involve lead generation, cold outreach, or traditional prospecting activities.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
    OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)

  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (Preferred)

  • 7-10 years Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries. (Preferred)

  • Telecommunications industry experience. (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
    OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)

  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (Preferred)

  • 7-10 years Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries. (Preferred)

    Base Pay Range: $120,500 - $217,400

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
