The Revenue Recognition & System Integration Analyst will drive the strategic and technical execution of revenue-related system integrations, particularly focused on migrating data to new billing platforms (e.g., Zuora, NetSuite). This role requires deep expertise in ASC 606, bundling and allocations, and item setup, along with strong leadership in organizing and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
Primarily remote but will need to make periodic trips to Atlanta, Auburn or business unit offices for meetings and projects. Travel plans are known in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
System Integration & Data Migration
Lead end-to-end migration of customer, invoicing, and payment data from legacy systems to modern billing platforms.
Oversee reconciliation of open balances, customer deposits, and deferred/accrued revenue entries.
Revenue Recognition & ASC 606 Compliance
Apply ASC 606 principles to revenue recognition, including identification of performance obligations and allocation of transaction prices.
Ensure compliance in bundling strategies and variable consideration handling.
Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to validate revenue release schedules and audit readiness.
Item Setup & Catalog Structuring
Define and maintain item master files, including pricing models, bundling logic, and recurring vs. one-time charges.
Align invoice presentation and product catalog definitions with business unit requirements.
Support automation of item setup processes to improve operational efficiency.
Leadership & Organizational Support
Facilitate integration planning meetings with stakeholders across Finance, Revenue Operations, and IT.
Develop and maintain project timelines, training materials, and documentation for internal teams.
Act as a liaison between technical and business teams to resolve blockers and ensure alignment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or Business Administration.
5+ years in revenue operations, financial systems integration, or billing platform implementation.
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and practical experience applying it to system design and revenue workflows.
Hands-on experience with ERP and billing systems (NetSuite, Oracle, Workday Zuora preferred).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex integration projects.
Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
