Ready to make a real difference in how patients access healthcare? Altera Digital Health is on the hunt for a sharp Senior Business Analyst. If you're someone who thrives on streamlining patient access and revenue cycle workflows, and you're passionate about building technology solutions that genuinely improve healthcare, then this remote role in the U.S. could be your next big move. We're looking for an expert in Access Management who's eager to dive in and shape the future of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of requirements for revenue cycle initiatives.
- Leverage expertise in access management to align patient access practices and technologies with revenue cycle workflows
- Serve as a knowledgeable access management resource supporting cross functional teams outside of the revenue cycle
- Work under the direction of the Manager to provide application solutions for assigned business areas.
- Possess senior level functional knowledge of assigned application technology.
- Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to solicit business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user story maps, product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases.
- Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests to be used by development teams.
- Interact with development teams during the software build and/or configuration process and testing process.
- Perform functional application configuration and testing ensuring programs meet business specifications.
- Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking input on future direction.
- Review vendor provided documentation and user manuals needed to support the product.
Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/years of experience required.
Experience
- 4-7 years’ experience working with an Access Management solution in both an acute and ambulatory setting.
- Understanding of Patient Access/ Access Management workflows to include Authorizations, Referrals, Medical Necessity checking and Eligibility
- Experience of requirements elicitation and analysis
- Experience leading teams or projects is an asset
- Experience working with Agile Principles is an asset.
- Experience breaking down requirements into User Stories is an asset

- May require some travel for business needs.
