Summary:
The Sr Analyst, Invoicing QC will report to the Director of Default Invoicing/Property Preservation and work closely with operational departments and default vendors. The primary responsibility is ensuring state and federal regulations, agency guidance, policy, and procedures are followed, compiling monthly vendor quality scores for scorecards, as well as responding to internal and external audits. Is expected to demonstrate knowledge of the default servicing industry and assist with planning and performing audits to facilitate Freedom Mortgage Corporation Servicing compliance with federal laws, corporate standards, and generally accepted quality control principles. The position routinely interacts with various business units within Default Servicing, Internal Audit Department, Change Management and outside vendors.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Compiles monthly invoicing audit scorecards and performs quality audits for outsource vendors.
Ensures vendors are submitting invoices withing Investor/Insurer guidelines.
Makes recommendations to invoicing system programming.
Managing internal and external audit requests.
Provides detailed audit results to management team in Default Servicing.
Assist with creation or modifying departmental control reports.
Examines documentation and processes to ensure control points are executed in adherence to regulatory and agency guidance, policies and procedures.
Identify issues in data quality, sourcing, or documentation by reviewing existing data and processes.
Works to address all regulatory changes with the business.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Maintains responsibility for meeting Freedom Mortgage’s commitment to compliance.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is an individual contributor with no direct reports but may provide guidance, leadership, or training to others.
Qualifications:

Fully knowledgeable and capable of developing and executing on various complex compliance and control related activities.
Experience in constructing and evaluating tests of controls, analyzing issues and formatting effective corrective action plans.
Articulate and effective communicator able to prepare and deliver detailed oral and written presentations to business units.
Knowledge of bankruptcy laws and regulations.
Experience with reporting applications, preferred.
Knowledge of foreclosure laws and regulations, preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Graduate/GED.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
5-8 years of related work experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None Required.

Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues and understanding of the financial/mortgage industry. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.
