About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team leading AI innovation at OpenGov. You’ll help shape the future of AI-enabled work by developing and scaling both custom AI solutions and vendor-supported tools that drive real business impact. From internally built LLM agents and RAG pipelines to strategic oversight of AI capabilities in platforms like Gong, Enterprise Search, and Customer Support Agents (e.g., Sierra, Decagon, Forethought), this role bridges the technical and strategic to create cohesive, intelligent user experiences.

Importantly, this is not a product-facing role. It is an internal business operations position focused on using AI to transform how our internal teams work.

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Analyst, Enterprise AI Applications to lead our efforts in applying AI across enterprise systems and workflows. This role will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling AI agents and prompting strategies across core business functions — from customer support agents to sales assistants and internal automation tools.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across GTM, G&A, and IT to transform complex workflows into intelligent, AI-assisted experiences using Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt libraries, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks. It serves as the critical link between business use cases and AI-powered realities—turning functional goals into intelligent, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize high-quality prompts for generative AI agents embedded in Salesforce, Slack, support tools, and other enterprise platforms.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional workflows/requirements into scalable, AI-powered experiences.

  • Build, test, and maintain reusable agents and prompt templates and libraries for internal and customer-facing use cases.

  • Participate in agile delivery workflows including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with Enablement and Ops teams to align priorities and support rollout and training.

  • Implement agents and prompt testing strategies and iterate based on user feedback, performance, and groundedness.

  • Partner with IT Engineering, Enterprise Systems and Data teams to integrate retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector search workflows.

  • Contribute to agent QA and co-develop success metrics with key stakeholders such as case deflection, MTTR reduction, process time efficiencies, grounding accuracy, and response quality.

  • Manage the agents and prompt lifecycle from ideation and design through deployment and refinement.

  • Document and maintain agents and prompt libraries, playbooks, frameworks and design patterns.

  • Stay up to date on LLM capabilities, prompt tuning methods, and emerging tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 4+ years working in an enterprise SaaS environment, with experience in RevOps, GTM systems, IT automation, analytics, or applied AI roles.

  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering best practices with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini.

  • Familiarity with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Slack, Outreach, Gong, Atlassian, Workday, Netsuite and enterprise business platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effective AI solutions.

  • Clear, concise writer with an eye for language quality and prompt usability.

  • Curious, iterative, and action-oriented with a bias toward shipping and learning.

Bonus Skills
  • Experience with Python and SQL.

  • Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, Airia, Workato, or dbt.

  • Exposure to knowledge management systems or enterprise data architecture.

  • Background implementing AI use cases in Sales, Support, or IT settings.

$115k - $150k

On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.

The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
