POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Cortex Expert to design and deliver next-gen, AI-powered analytics solutions within a cloud-native data environment. The Senior, AI Engineer role focuses on leveraging Snowflake Cortex AI, along with emerging multi context protocol (MCP) such as OpenAI, Claude, and Grok, to enable intelligent automation and predictive insights across healthcare operations, research, and patient engagement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build AI-driven applications using Snowflake Cortex, Document AI, and Snowpark ML.

  • Design and deploy predictive models for clinical decision support, patient risk scoring, and operational efficiency.

  • Integrate GenAI tools like OpenAI GPT, Claude (Anthropic), and xAI’s Grok to enhance unstructured data processing (e.g., clinical notes, lab reports) and generate intelligent summaries or decision recommendations.

  • Develop and optimize secure, scalable data pipelines for AI/ML workloads using Snowflake and Python.

  • Integrate cloud-based services (AWS, GCP, Azure) to support healthcare-specific data architectures and real-time analytics.

  • Ensure data governance, HIPAA compliance, and secure handling of PHI.

  • Embed Snowflake AI capabilities into healthcare BI tools and operational dashboards (Power BI, Qlik Sense).

  • Support MLOps and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployment and monitoring of AI models.

  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to translate business goals into AI-driven outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience with AI/ML in cloud environments, including Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark ML.

  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in model development and deployment.

  • Familiarity with multi-agent AI systems or A2A architecture or orchestration frameworks that integrate OpenAI, Claude, or Grok for context-aware automation.

  • Deep understanding of AI end-to-end architecture in data platform and BI technical stack.  Experience in deploying Gen AI models in Snowflake.

  • Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in healthcare or regulated industries.

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and AI/ML frameworks.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience deploying GenAI use cases in a Snowflake ecosystem.

  • Understanding of how MCPs can complement structured Snowflake data to deliver rich narrative insights, automated clinical summaries, and patient engagement tools.

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and integration into AI workflows.

  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java, Python)

  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to understand complex data structures.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
