Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager to own the Affiliate channel end to end across investment decisions, partners, forecasting, roadmap, and patient journey, to achieve Rula’s patient acquisition objectives through data-driven management and scale. This is a critical channel for Rula’s patient marketing team. You’ll have dotted-line responsibility over an Affiliate Specialist, an external contractor, and virtual assistants. This person will be responsible for exceeding targets by recruiting and growing high-quality publishers, optimizing partner performance, and safeguarding channel integrity through disciplined compliance and fraud/quality auditing. You will be an excellent communicator & storyteller, and unafraid to “make it happen” in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You have clear command of your inputs and understand how to clearly & succinctly diagnose problems, triage, and communicate required actions or outcomes with key stakeholders including Analytics, Finance, and Provider Success. You should be comfortable communicating with leadership including the executive team. And you have the drive to win!

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of related professional experience directly executing and managing affiliate marketing programs

  • Affiliate network / platform mastery (Impact or equivalent, e.g. Commission Junction, Rakuten, Partnerize); expert understanding of partner onboarding, tracking setup, commissions/payout structures, and optimization levers

  • Experience directly managing large budgets / partner spend, i.e. $1M+ per month

  • Experience recruiting, negotiating with, and managing publisher / affiliate partners to grow and improve channel outcomes

  • Experience with affiliate tracking, attribution, and fraud / compliance auditing

  • Experience working with cross-functional partners including Finance and Analytics to improve channel outcomes

  • Experience in data-driven and ROI-based Affiliate programs, including managing ROI to levels of granularity below aggregate channel performance (i.e. partner or State level)

Preferred Qualifications

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.

  • Hands-on experience with Impact

  • Experience leading a team, VAs, or one or more specialists

  • Experience managing marketplace / directory partners (e.g., Psychology Today, ZocDoc) and/or a retail partner like Amazon

  • Track record of building / leveraging AI agents to automate affiliate operations

  • Proficiency with Looker or equivalent data visualization tools

  • Proficiency with first-party data integration tools like Freshpaint, Segment, etc.

We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive:

  • 100% remote work environment: Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)

  • Attractive pay and benefits: Full transparency of pay ranges regardless of where you live in the United States

  • Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA

  • 401(k) plan access: Start saving for your future

  • Generous time-off policies: Including 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year for self-care (for most employees)

  • Paid parental leave: Available for all parents, including birthing, non-birthing, adopting, and fostering

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Supporting your mental and physical health

  • Quarterly department stipend: Fun team-building activities or in-person gatherings

  • Community and employee resource groups: Participate in groups that celebrate employee identity and lived experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all

  • Home office stipend: New hire home office stipend & $50 monthly stipend to help cover internet or cell phone expenses

  • Wellness at Rula program: Year-round wellness initiatives and a $50/month wellness stipend

Our team

We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our mission of making mental healthcare work for everyone.  We are dedicated to having a culture of inclusion that will support our employees in feeling safe, seen, heard, and valued.
