Sr. Account Executive, Commercial Lines

Developing and managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This role involves identifying client needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Additionally, the Senior Account Executive will play a key role in training and mentoring team members, sharing industry knowledge, and best practices to enhance overall team performance.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial insurance market.

• Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.

• Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

 
What are the requirements needed for this position? 

• Bachelor Degree or minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a related role.

• Proven track record of managing and growing a book of commercial lines accounts.

• In depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.

• Competense in using Applied Epic.

• Proficiency in MS Office Software

• Knowledge of insurance carrier rating programs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Understanding of industry rules, regulations, and compliance requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• State P&C Broker License

• Licensed Property & Casualty Agent

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

• Insurance Industry Designation such as CPCU, CIC or AIM

• Knowledge of Kanban JIRA System

20% travel

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
