Summary:

In this role, you will support and advance client spend management performance by aligning Vizient solutions with organizational priorities and strategic goals. You will partner with client functional experts and internal delivery teams to implement category strategies, optimize contract utilization, and drive measurable value through savings, growth, and risk mitigation. You will leverage analytics, insights, and industry intelligence to inform workplans, strengthen client engagement, and enhance adoption of Vizient spend management programs and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute category management and core tenet strategies in alignment with the Spend Management Delivery team and client workplans.

  • Manage GAF performance and budget within assigned territory.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to move spend from off-contract to on-contract.

  • Analyze GPO Performance Dashboard data to track sales plan performance, identify trends, and connect underreported spend.

  • Engage client functional experts to understand business challenges and align solutions to mitigate risk and support renewal strategies.

  • Partner with Category Managers, SMEs, Analysts, and Product Advisors to implement solutions and advance workplan initiatives.

  • Lead client discussions to communicate insights, illustrate value, and drive adoption of spend management programs.

  • Administer strategic programs such as Impact Standardization, Novaplus, Group Buy, and aggregation network initiatives.

  • Monitor and report performance across core tenet KPIs, including Supplier Diversity, Price Assurance, Supply Assurance, EPP, and insights and intelligence.

  • Deliver ongoing service and support within defined territory, including training, issue resolution, portal navigation, and contract price activation guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience supporting healthcare supply chain, spend management, or group purchasing programs preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret dashboards and performance data.

  • Ability to engage client functional experts and translate business challenges into actionable solutions.

  • Knowledge of category management principles and contract optimization strategies preferred.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within an assigned territory.

  • Proficiency with data and reporting tools preferred.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
